 **Egg Rice (Easy & Delicious Recipe)**  





Egg rice 



### **Ingredients:**  

- 1 cup cooked rice (preferably cooled or day-old)  


- 2 eggs  


- 1 small onion, finely chopped  


- 1-2 green chilies, chopped (optional)  


- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)  


- 2 tbsp oil or butter  


- 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)  


- ½ tsp black pepper  


- Salt to taste  


- Spring onions or cilantro for garnish  




### **Instructions:**  

1. **Heat oil/butter** in a pan on medium heat.  


2. **Sauté aromatics** – Add chopped onions, green chilies, and garlic. Cook until onions turn translucent.  


3. **Scramble the eggs** – Push the onions to one side, crack the eggs into the pan, and scramble them until fully cooked. Mix with the onions.  


4. **Add rice** – Toss in the cooked rice and stir well to combine with the egg mixture.  


5. **Season** – Add soy sauce (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix everything evenly.  


6. **Garnish & serve** – Sprinkle chopped spring onions or cilantro. Enjoy hot!  




### **Variations:**  


- **Spicy egg rice** – Add a dash of chili sauce or sriracha.  


- **Vegetable egg rice** – Toss in peas, carrots, or bell peppers.  


- **Cheesy egg rice** – Stir in shredded cheese at the end.
